From the international leader of ergonomic chair design Herman Miller comes a new family of multipurpose office chairs dubbed the Setu Chairs. The new line was designed by Studio 7.5 of Berlin (who also designed Herman Millers Mirra work chair back in 2003), and will initially include the Setu 5-star, 4-star, butterfly, butterfly stool, and a lounge and ottoman.

The Setu chairs only come with one adjustment (height) as it features an innovative Kinematic Spine that allows it to naturally flex and bend with your every movement without any knob tweaking. The kinematic spine works together with a Lyris seating suspension material that conforms to your body’s contours while providing areation and minimising heat build-up.

The Setu multipurpose chairs come in a variety of colors, and weigh less than 20 pounds. They have an H-Alloy aluminium base, and are 92 percent recycable.

While the Setu chairs are available now for commercial users starting at $650 a piece, the rest of us have to wait until September for retail distribution.
